New Haven Marinas has expanded to Kentucky with the acquisition of Green River Marina on the shores of Green River Lake. The move marks the company’s expansion into a third state, which strengthens its presence in the marina sector.
Green River Marina currently operates at full capacity, with 100% occupancy and a waiting list for new slips. New Haven Marinas plans to add more than 40 wet slips during the first year following the acquisition. The marina also generates consistent rental income and presents a projected internal rate of return exceeding 30%.
The expansion plans also include the introduction of floating homes designed for short-term stays to diversify accommodation options and enhance the visitor experience. In a post by Dallas Hayden, President of New Haven Marinas, the company described the acquisition as a strategic move to grow into new markets and deliver strong returns for their partners.
New Haven Marinas specialises in acquiring and managing marinas across the United States, partnering with accredited investors to build a portfolio of waterfront properties. Its current holdings include Beach Island Marina & Resort and Stardust Marina at Norris Lake in Tennessee, Mermaid Cove Marina & RV Resort at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri and Lakeview Marina & Campground at Norris Lake.
