Marinedi is expanding its technical services through an integrated refit system across seven boatyards in Italy, aiming to provide yacht owners with coordinated maintenance support. The company will present the initiative at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

Founded in 2013, Marinedi is one of the largest marina operators in the Mediterranean, with more than 5,055 berths across 14 marinas in Italy. The company said the integrated refit system builds on technical services across its marina network, which were previously managed at a local level.

Trapani serves as the main hub of Marinedi’s integrated refit system, which also spans boatyards in Chiavari, Villasimius, Teulada, Balestrate, Policoro and Brindisi. The network combines company-owned boatyards with specialist partner companies operating within the group’s ecosystem.

The network can accommodate smaller leisure craft and vessels up to 70 metres in length, with particular focus on the 12 to 35-metre segment, which the company described as one of the market’s most dynamic sectors. Facilities across the network include travel lifts of varying capacities, hardstanding areas for long-term projects, dedicated technical zones and service quays.

Marinedi said the system allows yacht owners to schedule maintenance and refit work at different points along their cruising routes instead of relying on a single refit centre. The company also pointed to continued demand in the refit market, noting that more yacht owners are choosing to upgrade existing vessels instead of replacing them.

Marinedi added that Italy continues to attract international clients because of its yacht-building and refit industry, together with its coastal destinations and hospitality available during technical stopovers.
