The Marina Industries Association (MIA) has announced that Marinas26 will introduce a dedicated innovation showcase focused on new businesses and recently launched solutions within the marina sector.

The Innovators & Start-Up Showcase will take place during the Marinas26 International Conference & Trade Exhibition, scheduled for 25-26 May 2026 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Activities around the conference will extend from 24-27 May, including a welcome function and a study tour.
The showcase is designed to give selected start-ups and product developers an opportunity to present marina solutions directly to more than 400 owners, operators, suppliers and industry stakeholders from Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Participation will be limited to five exhibitors, each given a seven-minute live presentation alongside a dedicated exhibition pod.
Applications are open to start-ups established since June 2024 and to products or services released to the market from 1 June 2024. Eligible entries must be ready for use, capable of growth and suited to marina operations, infrastructure, equipment or services. Preference will be given to proposals that address sustainability, safety, digital systems, operational performance or customer experience.
MIA confirmed that participation will be offered on a cost-recovery basis of $1,260 AUD plus GST. Each exhibitor will receive one full exhibitor pass, placement in the official conference handbook and visibility through a dedicated marketing campaign. Conference delegates will vote on the showcased entries, with the selected innovation announced at the Gala Dinner on 26 May 2026.
Applications will remain open, with successful applicants notified by 10 April 2026. Further information on the Innovators & Start-Up Showcase and the Marinas26 programme is available through the Marina Industries Association.
