Marina World and its owners SuperYacht Times are delighted to welcome Brianna Johann as the new sales manager at Marina World, where she will take on the important role of leading the commercial side of the publication following the remarkable 25-year tenure of Julia Hallam.

Brianna Johann

Brianna hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia, and moved halfway across the world to the Netherlands to embark on what she describes as “an exciting new chapter both personally and professionally”.

“I am honoured to follow in the footsteps of Julia Hallam, who, in partnership with the former editor Carol Fulford, founded and built the world’s most successful and well-known business-to-business title in the marina industry,” said Brianna. “They leave an outstanding legacy behind them, and I look forward to driving the magazine’s ongoing success under the SuperYacht Times umbrella.”

Brianna holds a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and began her career in media and advertising with OMD Media Agency. She later joined JCDecaux as an account manager, where she specialised in strategic advertising, revenue growth and client partnership management.

While new to the marina industry, Brianna brings with her a fresh perspective, a strong sales background and, above all, an energetic and optimistic approach. “I am passionate about building lasting relationships across the marina industry, whether they be established partners of Marina World or new players,” she added.

You can meet Brianna at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference in October and Metstrade 2025 in November. She can be reached at brianna@marinaworld.com.
