Marina Ibiza has retained its Blue Star Marina certification with the maximum five star ranking following an audit conducted by the International Marine Certification Institute in partnership with the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club.

Announcing the retention of its status, Marina Ibiza said it underlines their “commitment to excellence, quality, safety and sustainability”. The renewed certification follows an independent audit assessing the marina's performance across customer service, the quality of its facilities, safety, accessibility, environmental management and maintenance.

The Blue Star Marina distinction is awarded to marinas that deliver an exceptional all-round experience, with audits examining the quality of their facilities and services, the professionalism of their teams, the responsible management of their operations and their commitment to continuous improvement.

Marina Ibiza - which is part of the IPM Group of marinas and shipyards across Spain and the Balearic Islands - said that this latest Blue Star Marina distinction “joins a growing list of accolades that endorse Marina Ibiza's management model”. These include ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, the European EMAS register, the Blue Flag and the Spanish Carbon Footprint Certificate.

“This commitment also takes shape through practical initiatives to protect the environment, from the Marina Ibiza Posidonia Meadow project and the installation of electric vehicle charging stations to environmental awareness programmes and marine biodiversity conservation initiatives,” Marina Ibiza added.

Located opposite Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Marina Ibiza has 425 berths for yachts up to 110 metres.
