Under the agreement, Muskoka Wake will operate as the exclusive watersports provider across Maple Leaf Marinas’ dealer network. Instruction and on-water activities will operate from participating marina locations, using towboats aligned with dealership brands.

Maple Leaf Marinas operates 21 marina and dealership locations across Ontario and is the largest operator of freshwater marinas in Canada. Its network spans Georgian Bay, the Muskoka region and Lake Simcoe and includes 14 boat dealerships representing 24 brands.

Muskoka Wake was founded in 2011 by professional wakeboarders and provides watersports instruction on the lakes of Muskoka. Its activities include dockside clinics, private lessons, children’s camps, e-foiling, flyboarding and organised events, with a focus on safety and skills development.

MasterCraft-powered watersports experiences will be available at Walkers Point Marina, Port Sandfield Marina, Lefroy Harbour, Huntsville Marine, Payne Marine and Kawagama Lake Marina. Malibu-powered experiences will operate from Gordon Bay Marine, Gordon Bay on Lake Muskoka and Baysville Marina.

Steve Tait, vice president of sales at Maple Leaf Marinas, said: “Partnering with Muskoka Wake allows us to elevate what we offer at our dealer locations. This collaboration puts expert coaching, premium boats and unforgettable on-water experiences directly into the hands of our customers.”

Andy Milovanovic, president and co-founder of Muskoka Wake, stated: “This partnership with Maple Leaf Marinas and two of the industry’s leading tow boat manufacturers, in both MasterCraft and Malibu Boats, allows us to continue to expand our reach while maintaining the high standards Muskoka Wake has set itself. Working with Maple Leaf Marinas and their exceptional dealer network opens new opportunities to introduce more people to watersports in a meaningful way.”

Alongside the watersports programme, Maple Leaf Marinas has introduced Wake Works - Powered by Gordon Bay Marine, a dedicated tow and surf boat service centre, based at Gordon Bay Marine. The facility focuses on the servicing and upkeep of towboats and wakesurf vessels.

Derek Lubert, president of Maple Leaf Marinas, said: “We’re focused on creating meaningful experiences that go beyond traditional marina offerings.”
