M-Marinas by Porto Montenegro has concluded its management mandate at Palm Jumeirah Marina and Dubai Islands Marina. The two-year term was held under an agreement with Nakheel Marinas, which is now part of Dubai Holding.

During the management term, M-Marinas oversaw day-to-day operations and planning at both sites. The work centred on improving marina performance, strengthening service quality and bringing greater consistency to operations.

At Palm Jumeirah Marina, areas that had seen limited use were reworked to encourage greater participation from berth-holders. A regular schedule of social gatherings and on-water activities was introduced.

Dubai Islands Marina opened without surrounding development in place. During the management term, the marina recorded early berth occupancy and increased visibility.

Across both marinas, M-Marinas introduced operational systems, staff training and customer-service practices based on the approaches used at Porto Montenegro.

“We were brought in to enhance performance, raise standards and activate the marinas, and under the leadership of general managers - Gregg Davis and Oliver Rees, we achieved that. The assets are now stronger, better performing and well-positioned for their next chapter under Dubai Holding,” said Tony Browne, director of marinas.
