Jotne Group has announced a new superyacht marina in Fredrikstad, Norway. Located along the southern side of Oslo, the facility marks the first phase of a broader transformation of the former shipyard (FMV) into a new waterfront district.

The marina, which began operations in spring 2025, currently accommodates vessels up to 50-metres in length. The facility offers essential services and is compliant with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. Future phases will expand capacity to handle yachts up to 100-metres in length.

The wider project includes thousands of seafront apartments, commercial and office spaces, a hotel and retail outlets. The project brings maritime activity to the centre of Fredrikstad, with infrastructure to support both visiting pleasure craft and expedition cruise vessels.

Founded in 1982, Jotne is a privately held investment company headquartered in Oslo, with operations in Fredrikstad and Halden. The company’s portfolio includes businesses in the oil and gas, the mechanical and infrastructure sectors, information technology and real estate.
