The Greek Marinas Association (GMA) has announced its new board of directors following the general assembly held on 20 October 2025 in Athens. The meeting gathered representatives from marinas across Greece to discuss priorities for the country’s maritime tourism sector.

Reappointed to lead the association, Stavros Katsikadis, Managing Director of Flisvos Marina, will continue in his role as president. The new board includes Vassilis Tefas of Cleopatra Marina as vice president, Kostas Asvestis of Agios Kosmas Marina as general secretary and Ioannis Koutsodontis of Zea Marina as treasurer. Members are Antonios Drosos of Kos Marina, Evangelos Vlachos of Alimos Marina and Panagiotis Pappas of Aretsou Marina.

According to Greek Travel Pages, the new leadership discussed key priorities, including marina upgrade projects supported by Greece’s Recovery and Resilience Facility and the association’s participation in the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2025.

GMA also welcomed Benitses Marina and Mesolongi Marina as new members, while Corfu Megayacht Marina had joined earlier this year.

Founded in 2010, the Greek Marinas Association now represents 28 marinas nationwide, with a total of more than 9,300 berths, making up the majority of Greece’s organised marina capacity.
