Established to acknowledge professional excellence, the Golden Cleat Awards highlight the importance of long-term dedication and forward-thinking in marina development and operations. The event will be held at the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, set to take place in Venice, Italy, from 15 to 17 October 2025.

The Lifetime Dedication category recognises individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, advocacy and sustained commitment to improving the marina industry worldwide. The Sustainability & Innovation category celebrates those adopting an advanced mindset, with a clear focus on environmental responsibility and progressive practices within the sector.

The nomination process is open to all, regardless of ICOMIA Group marina membership. Participants may nominate one person for either one or both awards. All entries must be submitted by 31 July 2025 to allow the peer-review panel to assess submissions and select a winner for each category.

ICOMIA, the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, has represented national marine industry associations since 1966. The association advocates globally on the recreational marine sector and works alongside regulatory bodies to promote growth and ensure sustainable development within the industry.

Nominations can be submitted online via a form, or by contacting louise@icomia.com directly via email.
