Freedom Boat Club has confirmed its entry into the Middle East with the opening of its first regional location at Dubai Harbour, scheduled for autumn 2025. The harbour, situated between Bluewaters Island and Palm Jumeirah, will serve as the home base for the new club and stands as a key element in the company’s international expansion development.

Dubai Harbour offers direct access to the Arabian Gulf and includes over 700 berths accommodating vessels up to 160-metres. The harbour is equipped with fuel stations, technical facilities and year-round docking access.
The expansion is led by Freedom Boat Club, a subsidiary of Brunswick Corporation, which operates more than 400 locations globally. The Dubai launch marks the company’s first step into the Middle East market and builds on its presence across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Arturo Gutierrez, General Manager of Freedom Boat Club for the EMEA region, stated: “Expanding into Dubai marks a major milestone for Freedom Boat Club as we continue to bring our world-class boating experience to new global markets. Dubai is a natural fit for Freedom.”

The club will be operated under a franchise model by Baker Almasabey, a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur based in Riyadh. A former member of Freedom Boat Club in Canada, Almasabey brings regional familiarity and operational experience to the Dubai venture.
“As a long-time boater and Freedom member, I’ve seen firsthand how the club makes the boating lifestyle accessible and effortless. I’m thrilled to introduce this experience to Dubai’s vibrant waterfront community and build something that brings people together on the water, all year round,” said Almasabey.
The city features more than 70 kilometres of natural coastline and 500 kilometres of man-made shoreline. Combined with a year-round boating season and the UAE’s second-largest economy, Dubai represents a location for the club’s growth.
Upon opening, members will have access to a fleet of Brunswick-branded boats, including Sea Ray and Boston Whaler models. Freedom Boat Club has also outlined plans to expand within the city, targeting three club locations across Dubai by the end of 2026.
