Boat Tree Marina, a full-service inland marina on the St. Johns River in Sanford, Florida, has been sold, with Simply Marinas managing the transaction for both parties. The marina is located on a cruising route, attracting boating traffic in Central Florida.
The facility occupies 21 acres of long-term leasehold land with 2,787sqm of space. It includes approximately 200 wet slips accommodating vessels between nine and 15 metres and 400 dry storage units, including covered storage for vessels up to nine metres.
Boat Tree Marina has a 20-tonne travel lift and provides routine maintenance, bottom painting and boat repair services. It is a state-certified clean marina and features a ships store, fuel dock, two restaurants, a bath house, laundry facilities and a poolside bar.
Most of the property’s net income is derived from boat storage and commercial tenant rents. The site also has potential for additional dry storage and a recreational vehicle park.
Simply Marinas has also managed a recent transaction of the off-market sale of The Castaways Yacht Club in New Rochelle, New York, where Venture Brokerage Group acted as the broker of record.
