Construction has started on a new marina in Ermioni, a coastal village in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. The development is expected to open in 2027 and is planned to extend the existing waterfront and reflect the area’s architectural and cultural characteristics.

Located within an inlet of the Gulf of Hydra, the project will cover 96.3 acres of sea and 20.4 acres of land. The harbour basin will feature four floating piers totalling 385 metres, a 70-metre manoeuvring circle and a 62-metre-wide entrance. The marina will offer 256 berths, including 231 permanent and 25 seasonal spaces, and accommodate vessels up to 60 metres in length.
The land area will host 2,300sqm of facilities, including administration offices, retail spaces, restaurants and a 20-room boutique accommodation. Vehicle access and parking will be positioned behind the waterfront to prioritise pedestrian movement along the shoreline.

The project will include 26 buildings constructed from local stone and plaster. Roofs will be flat or pitched, with pergolas providing shaded walkways. The layout is organised around a commercial street, a central plaza and a waterfront promenade, linking the different parts of the development.
The design also references Ermioni’s historical purple-dye production from murex shells, with light purple and pink tones applied to plaster, concrete and hardscape surfaces. Landscaping extends the village promenade into the marina and includes seating areas, small parks and plantings of native and coastal trees and shrubs.

The Marina Ermioni project is owned by Ermionida S.A. Neiheiser Argyros is responsible for architecture, land masterplanning and landscape design. Marnet S.A. leads the sea zone masterplan, marine works design and environmental study.
