Elite Dynamics, the company behind the holiday park and marina management software EliteParks and EliteMarinas, has celebrated 10 years of operations with a customer day at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Taking place on Wednesday 6 May, the customer day brought together partners and industry experts for a day focused on shared progress, practical insight and the future of the holiday park and marina industries. Aligned to celebrate their 10-year anniversary, the day also gave Elite Dynamics the chance to “celebrate that milestone properly, with the community that has helped shape the journey from the beginning”.

The day opened with a reflection on how Elite Dynamics has grown over the last 10 years from their CEO, Jamaine Campbell, tracking the early days of the business through to the platform and customer community the business has today. This was followed by the Elite Dynamics founders, Nicola Campbell, Jack Vernon and Jamaine, sharing how they launched the business in 2015 to challenge outdated systems and built “one of the most modern and dynamic software platforms in the park and marina industries”.

According to Elite Dynamics, they reflected on the “decisions, values and people that shaped the company’s growth, how Elite Dynamics has scaled without losing its culture, and what it’s taken to build a business focused on empowering talent at every level”.

The day continued with presentations from some of Elite Dynamics’ customers and partners of the event, including Rentals United, eKnowtion, Vfast Parks and Continia. Elliott Poulter, AI business process lead at Microsoft UK & Ireland, the event’s platinum partner, presented on how agentic AI is shaping the next frontier of business productivity and growth by drawing on real-world examples.

“What we really value about Elite Dynamics is their industry focus and that real niche of parks and marinas, and understanding the customer challenges and problems that form as part of that sector,” said Elliott Poulter in the run-up to the event. “Using technology that Microsoft provides that they've adapted to solve those problems is a massive benefit to those customers and that's what I really value about working with Elite Dynamics.”

Key takeaways

A number of key takeaways could be identified across the presentations given by representatives of Elite Dynamics and partnering companies. Customer collaboration continues to shape the future of Elite Dynamics and their solutions, while artificial intelligence is becoming a practical tool for reducing admin, improving access to information and supporting better decisions.

Furthermore, the first step to protecting margins is clearer visibility across finance, operations, sales and customer experience, the latter of which is built through small, practical improvements that make everyday tasks easier.

Indeed, while the details differ from business to business, the customer day identified that the direction of travel across holiday parks and marinas is the same. Both need systems that connect teams, processes and insight in a way that supports real operational progress, whether it be across finance, AI, reporting, channel management, customer engagement, connectivity and product development.

“The common themes and challenges across operators can break down into three things,” said Jamaine Campbell in an interview. “The first thing is how do we deliver meaningful, accurate time reporting to the executive team? How do we deliver meaningful data to our operational team? And how do we engage with our customers in a speedy fashion? How do we streamline?”

“It's exciting times at Elite,” Jamaine continued. “We have the ability and capability to leverage more of what Microsoft has to offer, whether that's artificial intelligence, model context protocol servers, whether that's customer engagement, whether it's [Microsoft] Power BI.

“The Customer Days are safe environments for [our customers] to talk candidly. How do we get the best out of Elite? How do we get the best out of Microsoft? What trends are you seeing from a customer engagement perspective? And I think they all take that on board and are quite open to learn from each other. So days like this are valuable.”
