Duck Bay has announced plans to develop a marina on the shores of Loch Lomond. The proposal concerns a marina that previously operated at the location, with Duck Bay retaining the right to establish berthing facilities along the waterfront.

The proposed marina would support boating activity on Loch Lomond and give boat owners access to Duck Bay’s hospitality venues. These include the hotel, restaurant, bars and waterfront spaces that currently operate on site and sit close to the planned berths.

Alan Cawley, managing director at The Cawley Hotel Group, confirmed that early expressions of interest have been received from business contacts seeking to secure berths following initial discussions.

Cawley also stated: “Anyone who knows our people, our culture and our standards will understand that there will be no compromise. I am committed to creating the most glamorous and prestigious marina and yacht haven ever seen on Loch Lomond.”

Cawley Hotels & Restaurants is the family-owned hospitality business behind Duck Bay and has operated for more than 40 years. Duck Bay is located on the banks of Loch Lomond, overlooking Ben Lomond and the Arden Hills.
