Dilmunia Marina, located on Dilmunia Island north-east of the Bahraini capital city Manama, is beginning to take shape after the installation of Poralu Marine floating pontoons.

Bassam Hajj, the general manager at United Trading Marine, posted on LinkedIn that the harbour has taken shape and that “channel connection works are advancing in coordination with the wider masterplan”.
“The development is being delivered with a strong focus on durability, navigational efficiency and long-term operational performance,” he added.
Dilmunia Marina is located on the northern side of Dilmunia and will cover an area of around 15,000 sqm. The marina is planned to accommodate 118 vessels, including 68 berths for boats up to 13 metres in length, as well as a dry storage area with capacity for 50 vessels.
A further 10 berths have been allocated for jet skis, while a public walkway will run around the marina basin, allowing access throughout the waterfront area.
UMT will work alongside Poralu Marine and Rolec Services on the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of modular floating pontoons extending approximately 580 metres.
The marina is planned to support docking, water-based recreation and leisure use within Dilmunia. Construction at the site began in January 2026, and the facility is expected to be completed and begin operations in May 2026.
