Bahrain Marina has reached a key stage in construction, completing 50% of phase one of its flagship waterfront project. The development is positioned along the eastern shoreline of Manama, which continues to progress steadily and showcases its role as a transformative urban destination in Bahrain’s capital.

A focal point of the progress is the Bahrain Marina Residence Tower, which has now reached its 15th floor out of a planned 20-storey structure. With 25% of the tower’s construction completed, the building is set to become a feature of Manama’s skyline and a component of the waterfront community.

Spanning over 250,000 square-metres, Bahrain Marina is designed to redefine coastal living with a mix of freehold residences, a hotel, a yacht marina and a variety of lifestyle amenities. The marina is located at the centre of the development, which will feature 163 berths for vessels and 42 jet ski spaces, along with a slipway and fuelling station to serve recreational boaters. The adjoining Marina Club is styled to mirror the night sky at sea and will offer dining, member-exclusive lounges and recreational facilities across three floors and more than 3,000 square-metres of built space.

Mr. Khalid Najibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Marina Development Company, stated that reaching the halfway point in phase one is a tangible step forward in fulfilling the company’s vision.

“Our aim has always been to redefine the concept of waterfront living and luxury residential experiences in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are not simply developing buildings; we are creating an integrated urban environment that elevates quality of life and unlocks vast investment opportunities across the real estate, tourism, and commercial sectors.”

Echoing the statement, Managing Director Mr. Yusuf Althawadi emphasised the engineering and architectural ambition behind the ongoing construction, especially the structural development of the Bahrain Marina Residence.

“This project represents a refined urban destination that blends distinctive architectural design with an integrated quality of life. We are working tirelessly to bring to life a clear vision that positions Bahrain Marina at the forefront of residential and tourism destinations in the region.”

The handover of phase one is anticipated in the final quarter of 2026. The 200 million Bahraini Dinar development budget highlights the scale of the investment. As construction advances, Bahrain Marina continues to position itself as a benchmark for modern marina developments in the region.
