Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC) has appointed Nass Contracting Company to construct new beachfront facilities within the Bahrain Marina project in Manama. The agreement was formalised during the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum, held on 2-3 November 2025 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
The signing was completed by Hisham Almoayyed, Acting Chief Executive Officer of BMDC, and Mazen Mattar, Chief Executive Officer of Nass Corporation.
Under the agreement, Nass Contracting will design and build more than 8,000sqm of beachfront spaces, featuring a 130-metre beachline, a 400sqm family pool and a separate splash area for children. The project will also include shaded cabanas, landscaped areas and water sports facilities.
Almoayyed stated: “This partnership marks a strategic step in delivering world-class recreational offerings at Bahrain Marina. Situated along Manama’s eastern shoreline, Bahrain Marina is a mixed-use development valued at approximately around $530 million USD. The project includes residential units, retail and dining outlets, a yacht marina and a 3,200sqm marine club offering leisure and training programmes.
