The Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP), also known as Growthfund, has extended the deadline for submitting expressions of interest in the concession of Aretsou Marina in Kalamaria, Greece, for a second time.

In a notice issued on 6 March 2026, HCAP said the new submission deadline is 31 March 2026 at 15:00 local time in Greece. The notice follows an earlier extension issued on 26 February 2026, when the deadline was moved to 11 March 2026.

Growthfund first announced the tender on 15 December 2025. The concession covers the right to use, operate, manage and develop the marina for a minimum period of 35 years, with the option to extend the term by up to 10 additional years.

In 2021, six business groups submitted expressions of interest in a tender organised by the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund. The tender was cancelled in 2022 after the Council of State upheld an appeal by the Municipality of Kalamaria, which cited incomplete spatial planning.

The marina’s masterplan was later completed, and presidential and environmental approvals were secured before the new tender was announced in December 2025.

Located on the eastern coast of the Thermaicos Gulf, Aretsou Marina provides 242 berths for vessels of up to 30 metres in length and occupies about 7.6 hectares of land.
