Following a public tender with four bidders, the Municipality of Cervia has selected Ravenna-based Ar.Co. Lavori to manage the Cervia marina under a two-year concession starting this month, covering the operation and maintenance of the site and its services.

The operator ranked first in the commission’s assessment of the technical and financial offers, and will pay the municipality €608,220 ($680,000 USD) over two years, plus value added tax, for a total of €742,028.40 ($833,000), as well as the maritime property fee owed to the Italian state.

The funds will go towards maintenance at the marina complex and nearby areas, while the concession covers port systems, equipment and structures, harbour cleaning, water and electricity services, security, car parks, green spaces and the marina’s commercial areas.
