Approved Boats has relocated its operations to Shamrock Quay in Southampton, enhancing its visibility and presence within MDL’s marina network. The move from Hamble Point brings one of the south coast’s yacht brokerages to an active marine hub.
Approved Boats is a full-service yacht brokerage and dealership, offering new and pre-owned vessels from global brands including Fairline, Absolute and Aquila. The company provides sales consultancy, after-sales support and regularly exhibits at major boat shows across the region. The company also maintains a presence at MDL’s Ocean Village Marina.
The new 600 square-foot office is adjacent to the Yellow Welly landmark. The modernised space offers a welcoming environment for clients, while the dedicated display area allows for a rotating selection of vessels to be showcased on site, enhancing the customer experience and footfall within the marina.
Shamrock Quay is a 255 berth marina and a centre for refit and boat building on the United Kingdom’s south coast. The marina hosts more than 25 marine specialist businesses, alongside facilities including a café, store and The Bistro Shamrock Quay. The marina features a 70-metre superyacht berth, a 60-metre visitor berth and a fully equipped boatyard with a 75-tonne travel hoist, 25-tonne boat mover and on-site storage for over 200 boats.
Shamrock Quay Marina Manager Barry Radband welcomed the move, stating, “We’re delighted to have Approved Boats join the Shamrock Quay community.
