Adriatic Marinas has appointed Andrea Eggers as chief executive officer of Porto Montenegro in Tivat, while David Margason focuses on Adriatic 42 in Bijela. Eggers brings almost two decades of leadership experience across Europe’s mixed-use, retail and lifestyle sectors.

Before joining Adriatic Marinas, Eggers held senior roles at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, including retail portfolio director for Austria and Germany and general manager. Her experience spans portfolio management, leasing, marketing, operations, hospitality and destination development. She also has experience in asset management, placemaking, strategic partnerships and customer experience.

In her new role, Eggers will lead Porto Montenegro as it works on its development, international promotion, sustainability and innovation. Alongside these priorities, the company will continue working with the government of Montenegro, the municipality of Tivat and its institutional and business partners.

Eggers said: “It is a privilege to lead a project that has become an important part of Montenegro’s international tourism, investment and yachting profile. From my first days here, I have been struck by the warmth, energy and strong sense of community that define Porto Montenegro. It is much more than a marina or a destination, it is a place shaped by its homeowners, yacht owners, residents, guests, partners and the dedicated people who bring it to life every day. Porto Montenegro will always remain a place for the community and the people of Tivat and Montenegro, just as much as it is for international visitors.”

Porto Montenegro’s marina has more than 500 berths for vessels up to 250 metres, with short and long-term berthing available. It holds The Yacht Harbour Association’s Five Gold Anchor Platinum accreditation and provides general marina services, as well as yacht repair, maintenance and refuelling.

Visitors and residents can find restaurants, bars, cafés and shops along the waterfront, with accommodation including hotels, holiday apartments and long-term rentals, as well as studio apartments, duplexes and penthouses around a central square.

Eggers added: “I join with great respect for everything that has already been achieved and with genuine excitement for what comes next. My priority is to ensure that Porto Montenegro continues to deliver exceptional experiences while remaining a place where people feel welcome, connected and proud to belong. Together with our outstanding team, we will continue to pursue excellence in everything we do while creating long-term value for our community, our partners and Montenegro.”
