The Emirates Council for Balanced Development has announced the launch of development works for the waterfront and boulevard projects in Al Rams, a coastal town in Ras Al Khaimah in the northern United Arab Emirates. The projects aim to improve public spaces and support community facilities in the area.

Al Rams Waterfront spans 2,000 metres and includes Al Rams Corniche and Al Rams Marina. Plans for the area include walking, cycling and jogging tracks, with landscaped green areas, parking areas, playgrounds, public facilities and plazas designed for events and community activities.
A landmark inspired by Emirati heritage will also be constructed within the waterfront area.
Al Rams Boulevard will focus on refurbishing more than 100 existing shops under a unified visual design influenced by local heritage, alongside parking spaces and public seating areas. A shaded pedestrian walkway, inspired by Emirati Al Sadu weaving art, will connect the shopfronts and extend towards Al Rams Corniche.
The council aims to support ongoing efforts to improve community environments across UAE villages and rural areas through upgraded public spaces and facilities.
